The Blue Crab Festival had its beginnings in 2001, when the Corporation for the Development of Paso Nuevo 'El Cardisoma' was created. This initiative arose from the vision and commitment of Mr. Tomás Pérez Medrano and a group of 25 people, with the objective of contributing to the moral, cultural and scientific development of our inhabitants.
