The Casa de la Cultura Oscar Ramón Torres is an important cultural center located in the municipality. Another relevant space within the House of Culture is the Pedro Barrios Díaz Municipal Public Library, which is equipped with a computer room and has a collection of approximately 2,300 volumes of books available for consultation by the community. This library is a meeting place for reading, learning and cultural enrichment.
The building of the Casa de la Cultura is on one floor and has a large front garden space and gardens that provide a cozy atmosphere. On its façade there are two blocks located on each side of a central door. In addition, thanks to its privileged location, the Casa de la Cultura has a direct exit to the beach, where you can see mangrove and zaragoza trees, as well as several cement benches that invite you to enjoy moments of rest and contemplation in front of the sea.
